My Crazy Week of Fun
Well... aside from school, getting my apartment in order, and trying to find my way in this crazy town, I did manage to have a little fun.
You see... there is this little bar called...
They have happy hour wednesdays and sundays from 10 pm to 11 pm. And the bar is located right accross the street from the International House ( where all normal exchange students live... unlike me.) So Concordia is a great place to meet different people.
Last wednesday we went there... and it was pretty cool. Played some pool, had a drink.... and almost died from second hand smoke.
It is deffinately not America when people are allowed to smoke inside.
Oh, this is Danny my Dutch Buddy. The university assigned him to meet me at the airport upon arrival and to show me around. He did a great job. Thanks to him, i had a tram pass from the first day and I had soup for dinner my first night here. Very cool guy!
This comment is not random. He was at Concordia partying it up with us little ones too.
On saturday I had my very first "Dinner Party." It consted of my two new friends Elizabeth ( from LA) and Ella ( from Singapore) who were invited to my apartment for pasta with chicken and green beans. YES FOR THOSE THAT DON'T BELIEVE I COOKED THIS I HAVE PROOF!!!
The food was scrumptious if I do say so myself!
Unfortunately, the girls incured a cost. Yes beware... you come over for dinner... YOU'RE DOING THE DISHES!
So not too shabby. After the dinner we ended up going to a club called De Beurs ( Anna! I stole their coster like you taught me lol) and we hung out for a bit. It was great to listen to all American pop at the Dutch club. And these people know ALL the words to JLo's songs! Even I don't know them!!
Now I know of 2 cool places to chill at. You guys are welcome to come visit me... and we can get a 2 for 1 deal during happy hour at Concordia :)

Vanya says that you still owe him dinner (he just saw that you can make it). Glad you're having fun there. Funny, you were at Concordia and we're going to Concorde for Roma's and Aleshka's club tomorrow.
